So why do a review on a psychic services site? Because I wish I could have found a review site like mine when I first started looking for a good psychic. I investigated several dozen different online companies before I finally found the one that had everything I was looking for.

Searching for a good psychic can be a very challenging and frustrating ordeal.  Here you are with a concern or problem that you need some serious advice about, and you just can’t figure out who to believe or which company to trust.   

There are so many to choose from, and almost every one of them claims to be the “best” because (fill in the blank).  It literally took me over a year before I finally learned the right questions to ask in order to weed-out the frauds, hucksters, and outright con-artists.     

I actually found some companies where it seemed like if they could read a script and operate a telephone, they could be a psychic!  Personally, I think it’s down right unethical the way some of them take advantage of people just to get your money. 

There was one company that claimed to be the “biggest” in the world… like that’s supposed to mean something.  Even if it were true, that doesn’t mean that their psychics are legitimate. Sorry, big just doesn’t impress me.  I’m not going to pay for a psychic reading until I’m convinced that I’m talking to a genuine, legitimate psychic!

This is clearly a company that stands behind its’ reputation.  And to offer a Satisfaction Guarantee in the psychic service business – it’s unheard of!  Nobody, and I mean NOBODY else does that!  This was what finally convinced me to give them a try.  After all, I had absolutely nothing to lose.

So after completing my basic research on them, I decided to dig a little deeper.  I went to their site and found that I could actually read the bio of any psychic I was interested in. 

This really helped because even though they may all be real psychics, I wanted one that fit the type of reading I wanted.  Looking through the background information on the ones that interested me the most was very helpful.  It made it easy to narrow my choices down to the one I thought would fit me the best.

Another interesting and helpful feature they have is a short audio recording by each of the psychics – where they basically just tell you about themselves.  I found this to be quite beneficial because you can tell a lot about a person by the sound of their voice.    

After reading bios and listening to recorded messages, I decided to give my favorite one a call.  By the way, the first 10 minutes is free for first-time callers.  We talked for about 30 minutes, and I can truthfully say that it was the best psychic reading I’ve ever had. 

The psychic was very professional in the way that she listened to me and answered my questions.  I was also pleasantly surprised at how down-to-earth and friendly she was.  All in all, it was a great experience – and I will use them again. 

Overall, what do I think?

But just like any service you purchase, you need to check out the individual you’re hiring before you pull out your money. Failing to do so is setting yourself up for a big disappointment, whether it be from a psychic or a general contractor. Let’s take a closer look now at how to go about choosing the best psychic for your money.

 Tip #1:  Ask Around!

Anytime we want to hire somebody for a job of any kind, we always start by asking around. Everybody knows somebody that does the type of job we want done, and everybody has an opinion about that individual. This method of searching will bring you the truth more than any other method.  If you hear mostly negative reports on a service provider – you don’t hire them. The same thing applies to hiring a psychic. Ask around. Friends will tell you straight out if they know of a good psychic in your area or on the internet. This is the easiest way to find one.

 Tip #2:  Get Some References

Getting references is the second step of asking around. If you need a mechanic it’s a lot better be referred to one by somebody who has already had work done by them… and was satisfied with the quality of that work. Again, people will tell you about a good psychic if they’ve had a positive experience with one. Even more importantly, they will warn you of which ones to stay away from.

Tip #3:  Check Out The Company They Work For

Unlike mechanics, you don’t find psychics at the corner of a busy intersection.  The majority of them these days are working through established companies on the internet. So your next best thing to do is to investigate the company they work for.  This is not quite as easy as asking your friends for a recommendation, but it can be done. The key is to ask the right questions. Some important questions you need to ask are:

1.  How long has the company been in business?  
2. Are there any complaints against the company? Check with the Better Business Bureau in their city.                                                                                                                            
3. How do they screen their psychics to make sure they’re legitimate? 
4. How much do they charge? Do they offer so many minutes for free? 
5. What if you are dissatisfied with a reading, will they make it right? 
6. Do they offer any type of Satisfaction Guarantee? 
7. Do they have a Customer Service department that you can contact?

Tip #4:  Bigger Does Not Mean Better

There are a few psychic service companies out there that tout being the biggest. This means nothing. The government keeps getting bigger too, but not better. Being the biggest company does not mean they are the best.  In fact it’s more likely that the finer details may get lost in the shuffle – like being sure your psychics are what they claim to be.

Tip #5:  Trust Your Gut

After you’ve done your research and narrowed your choice down to the company you like most, trust your inner voice in selecting a specific psychic. Astrology is a very ancient practice that operates on the premise that the position of the celestial bodies at the exact time and place of our birth, effects our lives from that point on. It tells us what is likely to happen, but does not predict that something definitely will happen. It’s kind of an “odds are” type of thing where something might happen… but not necessarily. It’s not “destiny”. We always have free will and are able to affect our own futures by the choices we make.

It’s sort of like thinking about asking your boss for a raise. You might get it, and you might not. But a good horoscope or Astrology Reading, provided by a professional Astrologer, can tell you whether or not now is a good time to ask for that raise. In a way it helps you to stack the cards in your favor by revealing the optimum time to do something (or not).

Horoscopes can also reveal a lot about an individuals’ personality, and uncover useful information about someones’ true motives. Each sign of the Zodiac carries with it certain personality traits. Some signs are more compatible with each other than with other signs. But people who share the same astrological sign are not necessarily compatible. 2. We all make mistakes.

No Astrologer is right 100% of the time. An honest one will tell you this. Usually 75-80% is a good average on their predictions. If one says anything higher than that, it may be true, but just be careful.

3. The good ones will make you grow.

Like any good counselor, a good Astrologer will help you to see things in a different light, from a different angle. This will inevitably force you to expand your mind and develop a broader perspective on life. This is a good thing. Don’t fight it when it happens to you.

4. A good Astrologer will speak English!

By this I mean, they will speak to you in terms you can understand instead of using a bunch of astrological terms you’ve never heard of. It’s a sign that they are mature and self-confident. The rookies and fakes will try to impress you.

5. They won’t pull a “Judge Judy” on you.

A good Astrologer is non-judgmental. It’s not their job to judge you, so they have no business doing so. If they do, they’re not a good Astrologer.

6. A good Astrologer will have competence.

This competence will show through in the way they provide you with specific, accurate responses to your questions. They’ll be willing to take the time to explain why said a certain thing, and will also be mature enough to admit to mistakes if and when they make them.

7. They will not reveal anything about any of their other clients.

A good Astronomer will never divulge anything about other clients just to impress you. Some of those clients may be rich and famous. So? Does that mean that you should think more highly of them because of it? No, it only means that they think more highly of themselves than they believe you think of them… this is very unprofessional.

8. A good Astrologer won’t pretend to be psychic.

Psychics and astrologers are not two sides of the same coin. They operate from an entirely different premise. It’s one way or the other, but not both.

9. They will sometimes give you quality items or services for free.

Legitimate, sincere Astrologers have been known to occasionally give their clients something without expecting anything in return. Don’t take this wrong, and don’t go into your relationship with them expecting it. If it happens to you, just say thank you and leave it at that. They’re people too!

10. If You Want a Good Astrologer… You’ll have to find them!

Finding a good Astrologer requires some research and digging on your part. Most of them are not high-profile, nor do they want to be.  Ask around, talk to friends, there may be a good one living right next door and you don’t know it.  There are several working through established companies on the internet. There are also a lot of “shady” characters there too, so be careful. If they can’t pass the scrutiny of this article, keep looking.
